The project is intended to allow class VIII students to explore the following topics on cell structure and function 1. plant cell 2. Animal cell 3. Study of cell structure- microscopical study 4. Diseases related disorders of Cell

 Describe the scope of your project. This may include class and section, subjects it covers, self shills to be used etc. as well as other factors affecting scope.
1. Students of class VIII are involved 2. Subjects involved are: Chemistry,BiologyGeography,English 3. Research is carried out in groups.For each Group different topics are given. 4. provides an oppurtunity to students to understand the importance of cell snd study of its structure and function 5. collection of data-display

Ground Water,Aquifer 4. Water Scarcity- Reasons 5. Methods to conserve water- Rainwater Harvesting 6. Drip irrigation

Project based learning

Project-based learning emphasizes learning activities that are long-term, interdisciplinary and student - centered. Unlike traditional, teacher-led classroom activities, students often must organize their own work and manage their own time in a project-based class. Project-based instruction differs from traditional inquiry by its emphasis on students' collaborative or individual artifact construction to represent what is being learned.
Project-based learning also gives students the opportunity to explore problems and challenges that have real-world applications, increasing the possibility of long-term retention of skills and concepts.
